=== What is the December Musical Gifstravaganza (DMG)?===
It's a way for MetaChatters to recommend and share holiday music throughout the month of December. MetaChatters sign up for a certain day or set of days throughout the month, then post some music to share.<br>
Services like [http://www.divshare.com/ DivShare] make it easy to let other listeners sample music before making a commitment to owning it, so that's one we've liked a lot. Of course, you are also encouraged to incorporate videos, images, personal stories, lyrics, and whatever else you think goes along with your selection.
<br>
Music for any end-of-year-timed holiday or no special holiday at all is welcome, but it's great if it can be winter-seasonal somehow as that is what many participants are especially looking for. 

Participation tips: 
<li>Make sure your post title includes "December Musical Gifstravaganza" or DMG.
<li>Test your sample link before finalizing your post, to make sure it works.
<li>Make sure you specify the actual names of the songs somewhere, preferably inside the post after the More Inside tag. 
<li>Have fun!
