Sorry for the double, didn't mean to block the front page of the site. It won't happen again, but just wanted to start a "what did you cook/eat/taste today" thread, because of what was being discussed somewhere else.→[More:]

Thanks to the lovely photograph that Senyar posted the other day, which was the inspiration for this, so if the idea ends up taking off you know who to thank. However, if it tanks then you know who to blame, lol.

Come on guys--we can do this... defeat is for the weak, and BUNNIES are helluva strong creatures you know (well, at least the bunnies here)!

What did I eat today? I had spaghetti with mushrooms and asparagus for dinner. It was pretty damn good and only took about 10 minutes to make.

Picture please!

I had this for iftari (that's when we break our fasts; it's ramadan here--well, as it is everywhere really. for those who might not be aware of what ramadan means, which i think after iraq and afghanistan, i doubt anyone would *not* know about it, is the month when muslims not eat or drink anything from dawn to dusk, everyday, for an entire month).

The dish is called Haleem, and is a staple during this month when almost everyone--muslim or non, end up thronging wherever it's sold, usually at most cafe's/eateries/restaurants.

You know, after the glossy--state of the art, looked like it had been part of a photo-shoot, majestic picture that Senyar had posted the other day, it just brought home the fact how much I should take note of what it is I'm putting up here and how good or not it's going to look... and what's worse is, I had taken this that day as well, and didn't even think of posting it.

Not saying that it looks "great" or anything, just that it's *better* than the other pic.
