1. I find the electoral map of Reagan's 1984 win intriguing. The last holdout wasn't states I would expect today (MA, CA, etc.) but Minnesota (and DC). Makes sense though considering the Dem candidate was from MN.

Of no use to you all since it's in Dutch and quotes the novel in French.
I know nobody who's read that book. So it's nice to converse with somebody else even if there's 40 yrs in between.

3. When I listen to the French FIP Radio I regularly sit up in surprise to look up what I'm listening to. The last one Rosendo Martinez y Su Orquesta - El Alegron Maybe it's recent, or it's from a 1950s Argentinian jazz band.
