...que fue traición de mujer. A modern rendition of a Chilean 1931 tango.[More:]lyrics to help you sing along.
When I grew up Julio Iglesias' music used to be the pinnacle of bad taste. But I have to confess that I like this particular song.
Maybe due to the tight band and the arrangement.

Lovely, really lovely. Did you know that Julio Iglesias was in the Eurovision Song Contest?

That was great. I admit, I have bit of a soft spot for Julio Iglesias. He has a reputation for being a cheesy crooner in the UK, popular with old ladies. (Er ...)

But I remember one evening, years ago, he was on a TV variety show. This was probably in the early 1990s. He sang "Never Never Never", the old Shirley Bassey standard. Even though he was singing into a camera, to millions of people, it was one of the most intimate, romantic performances I've ever witnessed. He truly made me feel as if he was singing just to me, and that he never, never, never wants to be in love with anyone but me.

I'd love to see him perform in a small club, Ronnie Scott's or somewhere like that, rather than a huge auditorium.
