Waiting for a phone/skype job interview to start Sitting and waiting for a video conference call from an interviewer for a job I've applied for. Never had a video interview before, not sure how this is going to work out.

I've only had one video interview and it was MUCH better than a phone interview.

If you have a cat, make sure it's in another room. Otherwise the cat will be the one insisting on being interviewed.

So now I wait to see if they want to bring me in for a full day interview.

Not sure why I'm doing this as I have a job that I don't hate but this new thing would be with a pretty sexy start-up that you-all have probably heard of (there have been FPPs on The Blue about it) and it would be more money and less corporate BS.

It's always good practice, even if you don't get an offer or decide you don't want it. Now the next time you have a video interview you'll feel more easy about it, because you've done it.

Not obsessing. I hadn't been looking for the job, I only applied because the recruiters pestered me into it so I didn't have too much invested emotionally.
