What's better than lolcats? Cat videos! Here's a fairly-crappily compressed iPhone vid of this morning's walk with Pixel, our rescue kitty.

I've decided that Pixel is essentially a well-behaved dog in a fancy fur coat. He walks on a leash, comes when you call him, likes to ride in the car, and has one of the most complex feline vocabularies I've ever heard. This morning's 6AM conversation was all about how he had found Lovey Sock, his favorite toy (which is, of course, a disgusting ratty old velour sock that kinda resembles a dead squirrel). Lovey's been missing for a few days, and Pixel was so happy to find it that he galloped around the house with Lovey in his mouth, bellowing and mrrrowling in loud, yet hilariously muffled tones, long enough for me to say "welp, fuckit, not getting back to sleep now, guess I'd better get up and feed the barbarian horde".

Bonus: Cat turns skateboard jump FAIL into a WIN. Cat also looks very much like my old roommate's cat, Billy (and has the exact same attitude, too!)
