July Goal Wrap Up Post! So, how did everyone do? (Here's the mid-month goal check in post.)[More:]

1. Get base made for new silver bra. (Stretch goal would be to start decorating it too.)

Yeah, I haven't made any more progress on this since the 15th. Cups are done and I think one side panel is done, but there's a long way to go.

2. Be awesome at performance(s) this month (potentially at the Irie Cafe hafla and definitely with Urban Gypsy via webcast).

At Irie, Salima, O! performed Road to Alexandria and then had the Urban Gypsy webcast that same evening. Both went well, although the webcast could have gone better.

3. Rock 2 work things this month (ILLiad upgrade and staff tour).

Both things went smoothly, for once.

4. Do well in props class and start basics class in Baltimore.

Props class is going well, even though I've pretty much given up on the reverse plank for the performance on Saturday, but I'm going to keep practicing it to see if maybe I can get it by the showcase in October.
1. Pin down costumes for DragonCon - plan, and at least start working on the vest. Find new corset pattern that I ordered and start looking it over. I would say yes - We bought fabric and I plan on spending this weekend sewing. I also tried to be realistic about what I could and could not get accomplished in a month, so I ordered some pieces.

2. Survive pug patella surgery. Pug rehab? So far, so good. We're tired of walking her, and she's tired of being walked, instead of frolicking in the backyard on her own. She's also very tired of using the ramp instead of the stairs. 2 more weeks of no running/jumping. She's officially off pain medicine as of this week, but she's doing great.

3. Exercise. Do couch to 5k or jogging 3x week, at least hrm. Nope. Too humid outstide, I can't breathe. (yay, asthma) I did go to the gym downstairs last week once, and to yoga once, so I'm going to say partial progress on this one. I'll continue my exercise goal in August!

1. I joined Myfitnesspal, I want to track my food intake for a full month. I would be very happy at the end of the month to have managed to keep up with it.

Definitely! I have happily charted every piece of food that has entered my mouth, and I am really enjoying my new understanding of food. For the first time in a long time, I have managed to stabilize my weight. I have always tended to under-eat, and now when I see that I am low on calories for the day, I add a snack, and boom! I am maintaining a steady weight!

2. Finalize my fall travel plans, I have two trips to make, one for business, one for fun. I need to get both of those taken care of so I can stop stressing.

Yep. Done and done. Phew.

3. Frame photographs! I have gorgeous photos of Iceland that I need to mat and frame.

Nope. Haven't even looked at them.

3. De-clutter my bedroom - I got rid of a load of clothes to charity, but have yet to empty a big drawer which is full of toiletries. Done! That was the only one of my goals I hadn't done.

I got one out of three done. Flare up of back issues derailed me on 1 and 2. But that's all going away thanks to acupuncture and massage and August lies before me.
