Would anybunny be willing to do me a favour? I'd like to buy something off eBay that won't ship internationally, and I would like someone to do a receive and reship for me (and I'll reimburse for any costs involved, of course).[More:]

This is a special item. I have a little grandniece, uh, "Cauliflower Swan", whose middle name is Eloise, and since she was born I've been buying her Eloise gifts for her Christmas and birthday presents: the five story books by Kay Thompson; the two DVDs of the live action movies with Julie Andrews, and a Madame Alexander Eloise doll.

Now I want to get Cauliflower the Eloise snow globe for her fourth birthday or Christmas (it plays "Thank Heavens for Little Girls";-)). They don't make it anymore so I've set up autosearches on eBay in an effort to get hold of one. Now and then one comes up for sale but the vendors who offer it never ship to Canada for some reason.

Normally I'd message the seller to ask him/her to make an exception (they are usually willing), but in this case for some reason I am not able to contact the seller (though they do have a 100% rating). So I must resort to asking for a favour here. Will anyone please do this favour for me? I'll be willing to trade an equal favour besides paying for the shipping. And I may not win this current auction which ends in four days, so I might be calling on you to do the deed some months down the line.
I did it once, I can do it again!

Oh, thank you JanetLand!!!! I figured you'd have been so mad about the fact that I reimbursed you in Canadian Tire money that you wouldn't want to do it again, but if you're game, I am.;-)

Just email me your address (I don't think I have it anymore), and I'll let you know when the package is headed your way.

That'll be an improvement on the box of rocks you sent last time.

So glad someone was able to help you! I remember helping out a non-U.S.-ian MeChazen by purchasing scarves for a music chorale group once, and it was fun!
