Mom-in-law has family trust(s) set up already. We got notice of rent going up more than we found reasonable at our apartment. We all (family and in-laws) found a house that is GREAT.

We'd be owner/occupants and so will have reasonable rent and opportunity to own soon. My relationship with my in-laws is excellent.

This is a good thing.
