I love that movie. Loved it as a kid, and to this day Magical Mystery Tour is probably the Beatles album I listen to most. I recognize it isn't Rubber Soul, I just like it, possibly because it isn't as freighted with 'importance' as so many other Beatles albums became.

I remember dropping into an umpteen-hour Beatles movie marathon at a theater in L.A. in the mid-70s just long enough to see "Yellow Submarine" and "Magical Mystery Tour". It drove out any doubts I had that the Fab Four Ruled the 60s, and the 70s (and decades since) have come up with nothing to compare...

I'd never seen it before, so this was a treat. It was actually pretty good, especially considering when it was made.
