I am at a beach house in Florida with my family for the holiday, so my days this week careen wildly between blissful ocean serenity and very loud family noise. Could be worse!

Ahhhh, blissful ocean serenity. That sounds soooo nice. Maybe if I hide in the bathroom and run the faucet? Maybe?

Having a great day over at the Slack house. Mrs Agogo is cooking, we're enjoying some SKA Mole Stout, and watching the Donn Letts Punk Attitude documentary. But soon we have to pack up the car and head over to the House of Woe for the family dinner. Luckily more beer and punk rock will be waiting for us when we get back home tonight.

We're hittin' the Queens casino buffet later. Looking forward -- stuff our faces, and no dishes! With family scattered and Jon working the dreaded Black Friday, the casino buffet's become our new tradition. They have all the Thanksgiving favorites, and tons of other stuff. Lots of people there today, too. I'll go up to CT Saturday to see my mom. One of my brothers, along with his girlfriend and disabled adult son, is having dinner at the Assisted Living place with my mom. It's a bit depressing, if you let yourself think about it, but the food's not bad.

So sorry to hear folks are sick! The Fella's been hit with a terrible cold this week, but he's finally starting to feel better today --- for which I am properly thankful!

Also thankful that once again The Fella's family rescheduled Thanksgiving for the weekend, so we get to have our now-traditional Thanksgiving In Pajamas at home: just the two of us, a little feast, and an MST3K marathon. If we're feeling full of energy, we might play The Traditional Game of Trivial Pursuit later, but his cold (and my fighting-off-of his cold) might keep us just lying around sniffling 'til it's time for pie.

I have so much to be thankful for. And I am, I really truly am.

It's been a terrific day today here at the chewie residence: just me & the mrs and our 4 hairy 4 leggers. It's home, & content any way you look at it. We did the turkey, stuffing, cranberry & broccoli thing & had some tasty pumpkin pie w/ whipped cream. Otto (yellow lab) has trained Gator (black lab) to recognize the sound of the whipped cream can & they now come running!

I couldn't ask for anything more. Happy Thanksgiving, you guys.
