Ha! Don't get Showtime but do tell!?

Showtime is like HBO for people with lower standards.

But Dexter is fun.

Showtime's history of ick goes way back. Anyone else remember the bizarre "aerobics" shows from the 80s?

My favorite show on Showtime (besides Homeland) is "The Real L Word". I can't stop watching!

Warning: TMI -- Showtime was the pay-station that scrambled best on my cable in high school. In a pre-internet world (well, not technically, but practically), I was very thankful for it. Thank you David Duchovny and your Red Shoe Diaries.

I would like to watch Dexter and Homeland. They'll show up on Netflix/ Hulu/ some other service, right?

The first night I started watching this oddity and finished it only because I could not understand what it WAS. It was one of the weirder unsuccessful movies I've ever seen - about as execrable as Me and You and Everyone We Know but much more graphic and gross. That was the first night. The second night was Gigolos and then Polyamory. Every person on every one of these shows was ICKY. Ick. Creeporama. I was a classic case of horrified fascination. Ick.

What can I say, I'm at a work conference and I don't feel well, which means I am in my room instead of going out on the town. I haven't had broadcast TV in many years now and it's always kind of a culture shock trying to figure out what even the basic network shows are all about, let alone sex-reality TV and creepy movies.

Showtime's free here. Someone recently told me that Utah has the highest rates of internet porn access. Repression much?
