Very wonderful. This is a big reason why I shop at the local pet store where I buy our animals' food -- I love the cats that sprawl and stroll everywhere there.

My first thought is "health code violation" when I see a cat in a bodega that sells prepared food. But then I remember that I wouldn't eat that food anyway.

Didn't I read a while back that NYC is trying to get rid of Bodega cats? Silly gov't. I'd rather have cats than rats (and I like rats) in my corner store.

But if there's no cats there's probably rats the size of cats, so cats win for me. Although I'm with you on not eating prepared food from a deli.
