What does your style of glasses say about you? [More:]
I just got new glasses for the first time in over 5 years - not that much of a prescription change, but I did decide on larger lenses, inadvertently changing my style from something close to "The Scholar" to something close to "The Outlaw". Hmmm...
I'm kinda a mix between "The Hipster" and "The Scholar". Close enough.

Tech slave, yea.

I, too, am a mix between "Hipster" and "Scholar", at least as far as my work frames are concerned. The frames on my desk at home are pure "Hipster".

My big ass glasses probably say 'hipster' except of course, I don't have the rest of the hipster accessories, so to the world, they likely say, 'nerd'. I got such big glasses, because I had gotten a terrible too-short haircut, and bought the glasses to distract people from my hair.

Tech slave is about the closest.

I'm none of those styles, mine are narrow but curved with a copper-coloured frame.

I'd be a scholar, but a dollar store kind of scholar :p

My daily glasses are Tech slave/Scholar and my sunglasses are Hipster I guess. As much as I would love to have The Librarian, I do not at all look good in cat eyes.

Somewhere between tech slave and scholar, in that my current glasses are very much the tech slave style and my previous ones (a style I'll go back to for my next pair) are exactly like the scholar style.

Here's what they say:

1. I hate contact lenses.

2 I hate bifocals and trifocals. I'd rather be switching out between prescription sunglasses, reading, and distance glasses.

3. I am very partial to subtle black and white patterns with teeny amounts of glitter/silver.

Mine also say "I hate contact lenses." And, too, they say "Wow, it's 2003 and Tina Fey makes those frames look really good. I want me some of those." And finally, they newest pair says "Hmmm, I need to use up my vision care savings plan benefit and I want to look like I work in an ad agency."

My sunglasses say "artist," and my regular glasses aren't on the chart. (But a couple of friends have said they're very "Le Corbusier," only smaller and wire-rimmed.)

Mine are shaped like Senyar's but I would call those "scholar". Previous pairs were more like "artist" and I'll probably go back to them.

I'm in between the Librarian and the Scholar. My last frames were closer to Librarian. I already have my next pair of frames (for when these wear out) and they are in between Miko's Ad Agency and Euro Chic, I think.
