Msuic requests: [More:]Lone Justice, 10,000 Maniacs, especially the covers, and a whole slew of covers as I remember them:
Complicated by Ben Gibbard
That Kelly Clarkson son by Ted Leo
Many Rivers to Cross by Elvis Costello
Anything by Dylan done by someone else
Add to list yourself, I will add as they occur to me.
I have lost/been robbed of so much music and I want it all back.
Every live/rare/b-side/country/cover by Radiohead

A junkie whore messed up my old desktop imac stereo computer so they cd player doesn't open any more and I can't burn anything off of it, plus all my cords have been cut.
I need gospel, Atlantic R&B, any any jazz goddesses before 8am EST. Service preparation. And church is at 5pm.

My neighbors have decided I exist for their entertainment and think I should dj for them for free. They are all drunk and hassling me on my porch now and don't understand why I am ignoring them when I am talking to you guys or playing my friends music.
Indiana: disenfranchised, underprivileged, low to no self esteem, no manners, stare at everything like its television, can't read or use words, profoundly ignorant, Dunning-Kruger effect abounds.
Teaching people is a slow and gradual process but there is a reason people have to give payment for things here: otherwise, they think it is worthless.
I could buy anyone here for a shot of Tequila Rose.
And last night, a police officer told me hate crimes are perfectly legal in Indiana. You are allowed to threaten to do anything to anyone, any time.

I think he means that Indiana doesn't have any actual hate-crime laws, similar to the Federal laws. That's true. That doesn't mean people are free to threaten anyone with violence without consequence. You are, however, perfectly free to simply be an intolerant ass toward anyone in Indiana. Sadly, many folks here see that as a birthright.

We do have something called Hate Crime Reporting legislation. It's more just a data collection law administered by the Indiana Civil Rights Commission.
