Extraordinary performance! She plays right through her few mistakes so effortlessly that only someone who knows these songs intimately would notice. Earlier tonight during my walk, I was thinking how the original recordings had faded in significance for me over the last decade, but this has revived my interest.

I am a braille music transcriber by profession (one of a few concurrent ones), and I am delighted that she is literate in this way. Too many sighted music teachers are lazy and won't teach their blind students to read music, while their sighted peers are learning it, claiming that it's too complicated. Which it totally isn't.
