You know, I would eat the hell out of that if someone set it in front of me on the right day (or, y'know, right now)...

... but something about that lighting and presentation makes that look smearily anatomical, or maybe special-effects-y. It looks like something from a hypothetical early Cronenberg film that takes place in a Denny's.

Damn. I made waffles a few weeks ago and the recipe made six and I only ate two. So I saved the other four and made grilled cheese sandwiches out of them and thought THAT was decadent. Apparently, not really...
