Liking the "tabs" so far. I'm coming from WebOS, so I miss my cards + stacks. =(

Oh, and when you hold down on a link, it actually shows you the URL before you bother opening a new tab for it. Nice.

I have a new android phone. I use mFF at first but then found that Mobile Opera better suits my needs. In the end, I think it comes down to individual prefs. I've found mO to be much faster then mFF and the resident browser (chrome?) even slower. YMMV per your device.

Pudding Camera
Free. Options include choices of 1/2 dozen or so different film types and camera types that you can pair up to take photos.

Dropbox and Dropin
Dropin uploads photos & videos automatically to your Dropbox whenever you're online.

Swampwater Live Wallpaper
Cause...I LOVE bacteria.

And of course, Opera Mini.

Definitely Opera.

I picked up SwiftKey X when Google was having the $.10 sale. I really like how it guesses the next word.

Yes, Swiftkey X is my homey too. Love that app.

I've never taken to Opera or Firefox on Android; they always seem to have quirks that bug me, but it's been so long since I tried another browser I couldn't tell you what those quirks are.

Favorite apps: Swype (my G2 has a QWERTY keyboard, but I use this for searches and short texts when I don't want to flip the keyboard out)

Jukefox music player

Vignette camera app

Astrid reminder/scheduler/calendar app (I'd never remember any appointments without this)

Widget Locker Lets me unlock my phone directly to an app, like Jukefox or Vignette. Is insanely configurable... if there's any task you find yourself unlocking your phone and going to a lot, you can create an unlock slider for that task.

Radio Soulwax Always something cool to listen to.

I also second the recommendations of Dropbox and Pudding Camera.

I'm a big fan of the Dolphin browser over the default one. SwiftKey is pretty amazing, love the word prediction.

Opera Mini or Mobile?

That's a good question, Eid. I think they are the same but may have slight tiny UI differences in the menu slide-up. For instance, when I originally had Mobile Opera, there was an "exit" button, Mini doesn't have one and doesn't need one.

I installed Mini because it was the newer of the two, at the time.

I was asking which of the two the folks who recommended Opera prefer. I want to hear from YOU folks! (Yes, you!)

Also, I still have unlimited data, so I'm not really worried about that.

I like how Firefox's new tab prompt popup shows the URL, and I dislike how you can't control the name on Opera's "add to home screen" bookmarks. And, so far, I like the way FF handles multiple tabs better, too. Opera might be better on the memory use and footprint, but I'm not terribly concerned about those (at the moment).

So, Mobile Firefox is still in the lead, as far as I'm concerned. Convince me otherwise, please!
