10 things you (probably) didn't know about me. Bringing back another old MeCha tradition.

0. Though I was born in MO and moved to NJ before I was 10, I still consider Louisville my "
home."
1. When I feel homesick, I listen to a lot of
Johnny Cougar (Louisville borders on Indiana).
2. Because I was born late at night in a different time zone, my birthday technically falls on the following day when I'm in the Eastern time zone.
3. I have only spent my birthday in the "proper" time zone once since leaving on my 2nd birthday (Dad's rationale for that last bit: He's too young to remember that we're moving on his birthday).
4. I have never been skiing.
5. I have, however, ridden my motorcycle through a snowstorm. It was actually kinda fun, albeit wet and chilly.
6. I've never had a cavity.
7. At least one of the kids I tutored in high school has gone on to become a teacher herself. Which is so cool.
8. I was probably the last person in my high school class to try Dungeons and Dragons. Everyone in my entire grade spent their free time playing for the first few weeks of our freshman year. Down to the last man. And woman. I held out until January when the "coolness" had subsided to safe levels.
9. My longest relationship lasted 9 years. Apparently, that's impressive to some people? But hey, I had fun.
