Happy Thanksgiving to everyone celebrating it! And to everyone not: Happy Thursday!

(I'm from one of the "not" countries, since we had our Thanksgiving quite a while ago. I kind of wish we did have it later in the year. In the USA, do the stores generally start playing Christmas music before Thanksgiving? Because they did here a couple of weeks ago. Argh! And I'm thinking maybe if we had Thanksgiving today, that would be kind of a hint not to do that yet.)

It used to be the case that they didn't but there has been Christmas creep, so many places have started playing Christmas music not long after Halloween. It is annoying to say the least.

Happy Thanksgiving!
I am thankful that I got a job a couple of weeks ago that is not only a good match for my skills, but pays well and the firm is full of very nice people I've been glad to meet.
My brother also got an excellent new job that starts next week. And my ex-husbands's union called him back, starting on a big project that will keep him in work for a long time. In extremely local economic news, there appears to be an uptick.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving is pretty much my number one favourite thing about living in the USA (except for, like, my American husband and daughter :) ). We had a lovely evening with friends and now I am chilling online while mr. gaspode watches football. Happy times, happy times.
