Pillows! Yay, new place! Yay, room for guests! Have forest green futon and looking on etsy for cute cushion covers to go with. No idea what color would look nice with forest green. Ideas? Know any etsy stores that have cool pillow covers?[More:]I like this store, for starters.
You should get these! Very educational for Maddie! :)

I think beige usually looks nice with green. Dark blue can work, too, depending on what other colours have you have in the room.

Yep, only other thing in the room is a medium brown desk with a computer/two monitors (it's my office/guest room). So it's not particularly exciting. Off-white walls.

I usually like a medium yellow or goldish yellow with forest green too.

I get red everything. Matches green and blue and all that very nicely.

It kind of depends of you like to contrast or match things, gaspode. In the etsy shop you linked, any of the beige pillows with the orange flowers (orange peonies, orange tracy, orange dahlias) would be a nice contrast against the dark green. To match/coordinate I would go with covers more like this, this and this.

I really like the uncommon goods pillows that amro linked. They are more expensive overall, but I think a good choice knowing what know about you (SCIENCE!).

And definitely go with three. Stick to odd numbers in decorating.

Love the science pillows! See if someone has made bacteria and virus patterns. ;-)

I'm a contrasty person, myself. I find myself gravitating towards the orange ones you linked (I was looking at those before, too), which is probably better with dark green than the purple flowers on beige that i particularly like.

Strangely, deep velvety maroon looks beautiful with forest green.
