ROCK, HARD PLACE, SHOUTING THREAD! ARGH! INCOHERENT SOUND! UNEASY DECISIONS WITH NO CLEAR RESOLUTION! SHOUT YOUR RANDOM SHOUTINESS, FAIR OR ILL![More:] I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO DO AND HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL TOMORROW TO DO ANY MORE ANY WAY. LIFE COULD BE SEEN AS A SHAMBLES AND YET I AM NOT DESOLATE, I SEE THAT AS A BIG PLUS. NOT HOPELESS YET. MUST ADJUST AND ADAPT. THINGS COULD BE MUCH WORSE. STILL GRATEFUL I DON'T HAVE TO FETCH CLEAN WATER AND CAN USE MIRACULOUS MACHINES.
TRYING TO SEE OPPORTUNITIES WHILE COPING WITHOUT SUPPORT. SETTLED WITH MAKING INCOHERENT SOUNDS FOR THE EVENING. ALL PROBLEMS ARE TOO LARGE TO BE SOLVED TONIGHT.
RANDOM SHOUTINESS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. I BET SOMEONE HAD AN AWESOME MEAL TODAY OR MET AN EXCEPTIONAL ANIMAL.
UP SIDE, NOTHING HAS TO HAPPEN TONIGHT. I COULD STILL FIND AMUSEMENT OR SOLACE, SATISFACTION OR HAPPINESS, IF EVEN FOR A FLEETING MOMENT. UNLESS CATASTROPHE STRIKES AT WHIM, NOTHING WORSE WILL HAPPEN TONIGHT.
WOW, THAT LAST SENTENCE GOT STUCK IN BEFORE THE UPSIDE. HUH.
I AM EXTREMELY CARELESS ON GRE PRACTICE TESTS AND I SEE THIS AS DEFEATIST BEHAVIOR OR SUB-OPTIMUM BRAIN PROCESSING.
WAITING ON WHAT HAPPENS AUG. 3 HAS ME EDGY.
JUST GOT THE MASTER AND HIS EMISSARY AND AM HOPING TO GET ENGROSSED IN BRAIN PARTS.

not only is my caps lock key broken, but my keyboard is now ignoring all shift key presses, so while i'd really love to shout and scream digitally with you, my hardware is conspiring against me.

WE HAVEN'T HAD A SERIOUS RAIN IN MONTHS AND IT HAS BEEN HOT AS ALL GET-OUT AND TONIGHT IT THREATENED LIGHTENING AND THUNDER AND WE SAT WITH FRIENDS OUTDOORS AND WERE SO HAPPY WE WERE FINALLY GOING TO GET RAIN AND DAMNED IF IT ONLY SPAT FOR ABOUT AN HOUR AND WE ENDED UP WITH SHIT NET RAINFALL.

PLUS, I LET MY DOG OUT TO RUN AROUND IN THE DARK IN THE PARK BEHIND OUR HOUSE, AND SHE CAME BACK ALL DIRTY AND CHASTENED, SO EVIDENTLY SHE GOT INTO TROUBLE WITH ONE OF THE NEIGHBORS FOR EATING CATFOOD OR SOME SUCH. BECAUSE I HAVE A BIG "BULLY BREED" DOG, I AM SAD THAT SHE EVIDENTLY PISSED OFF ONE OF THE NEIGHBORS, AND THEY ARE PROLLY MAD AT ME NOW. NORMALLY SHE DOESN'T WANDER FROM OUR YARD, AND TONIGHT I LET HER FOR A TEENY-TINY BIT BECAUSE I FELT LIKE SMOKING A CIGARETTE ON MY PORCH AND CHECKING MY FACEBOOK INSTEAD OF CHASING AFTER HER ASS. NOW SHE IS LOOKING AT ME WITH THAT GUILTY (APPEASING) LOOK SHE GETS AND I KNOW I AM A BAD DOG MOMMY.

PLUS, WE WATCHED THE SPECIAL FEATURES ON THE VERY LAST DEADWOOD DVD TONIGHT AND I AM FUCKING PISSED TO ALL FUCKING HELL GODDAMMIT THAT THERE IS NO MORE COCKSUCKING DEADWOOD ANYMORE.

I GUESS I HAD A LOT TO BITCH ABOUT.

HAVE A GREAT SUNDAY!!!

I AM TRYING NOT TO FREAK OUT ABOUT THE FACT THAT MY PERIOD WAS SUPPOSED TO BE HERE ON THE 15TH. I WILL GIVE IT ONE MORE DAY AND THEN... I GET TO PEE ON A STICK.

I'M HAVING A HARDER TIME ADJUSTING THAN I THOUGHT. SO MUCH FOR MENTAL PREPARATION. AAARGH. GRUMBLY SOUND. THINK, BRAIN, THINK.

MAYBE IT'S AN OPPORTUNITY TO WRITE OR CREATE A DECENT WEBSITE, PAINT AND ILLUSTRATE. IT MIGHT BE A GOOD THING BUT IT FEELS LIKE A BAD THING, SO MUCH TENSION.

MY FAMILY IS PRETTY SHOUTY. WE ARE A SHOUTY BUNCH.

YAY FOR HAPPINESS AND CAKE. BOO FOR PAIN.

I'M IN NEED OF A MYSTICAL EXPERIENCE.

AS GOD AS MY WITNESS, I DID NOT KNOW THAT TURKEYS CAN FLY!

In envy of my friend having raised a 34-pound turkey last year, I asked my husband if we could try raising a few. We ordered 10 heritage birds, figuring that a few wouldn't make it. They are all alive, YAY.

BUT we also have a dog. WHO TAKES BIRD-CHASING AS HIS REASON TO LIVE. Several times now, I have RUN OUTSIDE, SCREAMING "GODDAMMIT, DOG, DROP IT!" at the top of my lungs, as I have wrestled dog to the ground, chased down the rescued turkey and flung it over the damned 6' fence, WHICH IS SUPPOSED TO KEEP THESE STILL-SMALL TURKEYS IN. They KNOW about the dog. AND STILL THEY PERCH ON THE FENCE, FLY DOWN AND STRUT AROUND ON THE GROUND, LIKE SO MUCH YUMMY, YUMMY BAIT.

We always count the turkeys on the way to let the dog out in the morning, and today THERE WERE NO TURKEYS IN THE PEN. They were 30' away, roosting in a tree in the pasture. My husband called "Here, turkeys!" and they exploded from the leaves and flew back into their pen. I consoled myself with thinking that they'll grow out of this behavior, literally becoming too heavy to fly, BUT NO. AS IT TURNS OUT, THEY BECOME EVER MORE AERODYNAMIC. OH MY GOD, I WISH I DRANK. They had better be delicious.

I swear I thought you were referencing WKRP, monkeytoes.

I've often seen wild turkeys in the trees at my brother's house in Connecticut. They don't fly well, but enough to get into the trees.
