Mindblowing moment for a lifelong fan - Paul Simon invites a woman up from the audience to play one of his songs, after she shouts out that it was the song she learned guitar on. [More:]This was one of my first guitar songs too, but I honestly don't think I could make it through this moment as well as this woman does without freaking out, forgetting words, or worse.
I linked to the husband's video, but here is one where you can hear the event without him hollering the chord changes at her!

That is beautiful. What a moment. She did a great job and can sing!

She knows what it's like to stand in front of a bunch of people and sing "Here comes something and it feels so good."

The singer (Rayna Ford) was interviewed on CBC Radio's 'As It Happens' last Monday. Direct link - segment starts at 19:45, runs about 5 and a half minutes. (Or go to the page for the Monday 9 May edition of the program and choose the 'Listen to Part One' item - you may need to enable pop-ups.)
