Help me pass my class! So one of my classes is a class on consumer behaviour, and my final project involves conducting a study to test for certain behaviours. We need as many people as we can get to fill out the survey, and I was hoping MeCha bunnies can help me out. →[More:]

The survey isn't long, just 5-10 minutes. If you could take some time and fill it out. I would really really appreciate it. You'd be helping me out a LOT.

So speaking of irritating push-sales techniques that ought to be punishable by repeat listenings of Rebecca Black, one of our last ditch resort options, if we didn't get enough data, would be to stalk campus food-places with a laptop and make people take the survey as they're standing in line. /shudder

Done. I assume this was to figure out if purchase decisions are based on announced criteria, or skewed by brand recognition.

Done! Based on what I saw in the last pair of options, I think I know what you were testing, but I'd better not say it here in case anyone browses the thread before participating. Besides, I could be wrong. It has been known to happen. Occasionally.

(And there is no such thing as a "gratuitous" picture of a bunny. Tsk!)

Whoa! So many responses! I'm itching to talk about these speculations, so I'll definitely come back with the results next week. Should I open a new thread or just post in this one?

A red camera? No thanks.

When I'm digging through the jumble of black folders, black zipper bags, and black gadgets inside my black messenger bag, trying to find my black phone before it stops ringing, or to find my black camera before the moment I want to photograph passes, I start to see the appeal of a bring red camera or an orange phone.

I recently decided to stop buying everything in black, if only because it will give me a better chance to find my [handbag/phone/camera/shoes] amid the tumult of black garments that is my apartment.

(And by "bring red," I meant "bright red.")

For me, the deciding factor (from the limited info available) was mention of OS-compatibility... but, uh, I forgot that in the split second that it took to load the next page. If the study had let me back-button, I would have been a more useful participant.
