Streaming audio, redundant storage After my external harddisk that stores my pictures and audio failed I became more worried about the reliability of my data storage. Just the thought of losing the pictures of my daughter....Argh.[More:]
So I caved and just bought a double network storage disk to stream audio and store pictures etc.
It's double so when one disk fails I still have all my irreplacable pictures.
And I can stream audio directly from the disk to my audio device over wifi. So I don't need to have a computer running.

I'm wondering how many of you have moved to this kind of setup. Do you like it?

I'm still amazed that redundant storage is a household appliance nowadays. It's not so long ago that only companies had this and they had to spend tens of thousands of euros for it.
Goede nacht
