Have you ever noticed a change in your voice as an adult? A few months back,I started noticing that my voice sounded ever so slightly different to me. A teeny bit lower. Very subtle, and no one commented. I wasn't sick and there wasn't any other obvious explanation. I kept forgetting the change and being surprised when I spoke.→[More:]Now I don't notice it anymore, but I'm pretty sure that's because I've gotten used to it. I guess it makes sense. I mean, people's voices continue to change as they get older. But noticing it was unexpected. Have and of you ever noticed a post-puberty voice change?

When I was 'playing radio' in my college and post-college days, I was very frustrated with my voice; it seemed so immature (especially compared to the big-time L.A. radio stars I met... it was, however, all too appropriate for my gig as a morning DJ's "sidekick"). I gave up on listening to my voice before my 30th birthday, but about five years later I heard a recording of my own voice and heard a big difference, thinking, DAMN, where was this voice when I needed it? Recently, I've noticed another, more ominous, change - I have begun sounding a lot like my father. AAARRRGGGHHH.

When I'm singing my voice is less reliable in the high end. I need more warm up singing.
And sometimes it still sounds shrill.
How do these rock singers do it?

I guess being a man a slight downshift in voice register is more welcome. I don't need to have a cold nowadays to sound very sonorous.
Adolescents have been addressing me with thou and sir for years now. So I guess it's age appropriate.

Oh foop, I'd kill to sing like my father, but my accent is too ...nasal.

I need to blow out my voice more.

My voice has lowered in the last two years or so, but I smoke. Lots of scary changes in the last two years all over my corporal being, age-wise.
