That's where I got my current screen name! Well, more or less... I used to be Madam on another thing, but since that wasn't available I went with Madamina (a la Don Giovanni).

But yeah, Wayland Flowers. I wasn't even a huge fan, but I've always loved weird looking ladies with lots of bling.

Marginally related anecdote...my sister's first landlady bore a strong resemblance to Madame, down to and including the turban, the hand gestures, and the barking laugh. Upon meeting her (the landlady, not Madam), it took me a few minutes to figure out who she reminded me of and when I made the connection, I got a case of the giggles. The more she talked, the more I giggled...my sister told me the landlady later remarked that I seemed nice, but a bit dippy. Still makes me laugh.
