See, I always figured it was the other way around - Justin Bieber looks like a cute lesbian. The first time I saw him, I actually thought of this really cute les-girl who works at the local co-op. To be honest, he's not nearly as cute as the girls on this site.

Justin Bieber seriously makes me feel old. Up until him, I could see the appeal of teen stars. But in my eyes, he's just a little boy! I'm ooooooold now.

I don't think it's even that specific, but that there's real appeal (especially for young female audiences) in male performers who cultivate a look that emphasizes how not macho they are. (Did that make sense? Must seek more coffee. Now.)

One of my favorite (and frequently referenced) throwaway jokes from The Simpsons is Lisa's Non-threatening Boys Magazine.

On preview: that big OLD felt like a personal message from the Universe to me.
