Happy Friday 13th! I'm being infested with demon children. How about you?→[More:]

No, seriously. These kids are in RARE. FORM. Yesterday was crazy, today is worse. The little one screamed for an entire half hour - about nothing. Nothing apparent going on, just sitting in the middle of the floor screaming.

Also: not hot water in my building. I am celebrating the day in style, and by style, I mean stench.

Anything weird with you guys? I feel like there's a significant disturbance in the force the past few days.

Gorgeous weather, the attorneys I deal with are playing nice. No doubt my Friday the 13th doom awaits me, but it hasn't arrived yet.

My day has thankfully been good. TheDonF and I are utterly exhausted, but we had an interview at the American consulate in London this morning, and they approved his greencard. Thank the little baby Jeebus. Drinking wine now, ignoring obnoxious neighbor, making pizza.

I bet! I've been through immigration hell a few times and I know how stressful it is - even if you know it will go through the waiting is just fucking awful.

I never went to work today. I got up, got dressed, got the girls off to school. But then I sat down on my home computer, started listening to a podcast and cleaning my office...and here I still am. No one from the office has called to find out where I am. I have slipped under the radar.

I haven't gotten to work out all week except for a two mile walk I had to sneak out to do.

I had my fill of housefulls (housesfull?) of children. If they all ever come here, we're going to the pool or the park every damn day.

Senyar: no awkward questions, rather surprisingly. Just paperwork, then how long have you been married, how did you meet. When we told the consular officer that we'd met on MetaChat, talking about sugar gliders, he said "Well, that's one I haven't heard before!" Totally cute.
