Walked into work this morning and... tl;dr version - squee, baby weenie dogs!
→[More:]As some of you know, I work weekends/holidays at a vet clinic/animal hospital. Saturday mornings are usually a grab-bag as I generally have no idea who or what I'll find when I come in. We don't board a whole lot, and those we do are usually older animals with medical needs/issues, and often times the clients we keep overnight are undergoing treatment or monitoring.
But this morning I walked in and went to the first crate area I always check and boom,
a fresh batch of Doxie pups delivered overnight. Awesome.
Momma and all five pups (three female, two male) are doing well. We took x-rays of mom's abdomen to ensure that there were no lingering/stillborn pups, and all is well. And my lord, they were feasting!
Squee, man. Squee.
