I was posting pic, Dr. Negative... you can't post pics in an original post.

In my highly inexpert opinion, I'd go with... greyhound-german shephard mix? This:≡ Click to see image ≡ plus this: ≡ Click to see image ≡
kinda-sorta-maybe = puppy? (Just going by the brindle, skinny body + wider snout, & the ears.) Prove me wrong, it's still cute.

Yeah.... that looks like him alright. Good guess. Everyone in the family is kind of hoping no one answers the posters we put out, but Mrs. Doohickie is steadfastly claiming WE DON'T NEED ANOTHER DOG IN THIS HOUSE. Me thinks she doth protest too much. ;- )

That looks to be 100% Cute American Mutt. I agree about the greyhound and german shepherd but I also wonder if there might be some boxer in there somewhere. What does his tail look like? Those cute paws seem to be pretty large.

Yeah, I'm seeing some boxer in there, too.

That dog is 100% adorable, is what it is.

Though German Shephard mix would also be my first guess.

The snout looks a bit like a Great Dane.

There are actually a lot of DNA test options if you Google "dog DNA." Sorry to post again, I wanted to add to the one I posted.

He looks like a perfect cross between the first two pics in that article.

We have several options for the dog; I'd like to keep him. Mrs. Doohickie says no (for now). Her sister in New York has expressed an interest, and a facebook friend does rescue and said she could find a home for it.

German Shep + Pit + Boxer +? is my guess. Lookit the cute big feets!

Here's hoping Mrs. DH breaks down in the face of extreme cuteness.

Seconding brujita, my first thought was "Great Dane head!" What a cutie.

Yeah, my thoughts align with rainbaby's. Shep + Pit Bull or Boxer. He's adorable, for sure. Looks like lots of love in his future!
