Just watched Moon. OMFG, this film was a trip. That's all I have to say. →[More:] See you in another post, kinda just like this one. Which is all about how much of a trip this film is. Yeah, that was a movie that left us utterly confused. Part of the charm (and I think the quality) is Sam Fucking Rockwell. That man has blown my mind in everything I have seen him in.
Furthermore, Moon was made by Zowie Bowie, who has changed his name to something far more pedestrian, like Tom Jones, or whatnot.
Great flick, totally agree treepour.

Yeah we saw that a couple weeks ago too. It was great! I can't believe it didn't get higher kudos. (Or if it did, I missed that)

Yeah, it was fantastic, wasn't it? It's one of those films that I've told tons of people they should see, but it still seems little known! I watched it on a plane ride to London to visit my kid brother!

msali, it's Duncan Jones -- the name on his birth certificate. Smart fellow. I can't imagine what people would think attending the exact same movie, but "Directed by Zowie Bowie" ...

Aw, dhartung, seriously? His name REALLY is Duncan Jones? I really liked the idea that his parents had named him Zowie.

We saw it last weekend (thank you Redbox!) and loved it too. Quite a performance from Rockwell.
