Help me organize my Flickr Sets? →[More:]

So my Flickr Pro account got another lease on life this year. But it wasn't until I lost the pro account--and saw my sets reduced to something like seven--that I realized just how CLUTTERED my account is! Sets everywhere!

So I know Flickr has had "collections" for a while. But I don't know how best to use them.

So how should I use collections to organize my sets? What types of categories should I use to really clean up my sets page and put everything in its place?

Maybe have a set that's just work-related stuff, another for artistic photos, and one for friends/social type photos.

A set can belong to more than one collection for when there's overlap.

You've got a good number of sets there: maybe you should alphabetize them like I do.

How do you alphabetize your sets? That is awesome!

What I did with collections was come up with five broad categories and then put the sets into them as seemed appropriate. It's reduced clutter overall but it's not really as organized as I wish it was.

How do you alphabetize your sets?

1) at your flickr homepage, click "Organize & Create"
2) there, click on "Sets & Collections"
3) drag and drop the set icons anywhere you like, in whatever order you want.

OMG alphabetizing my sets has Changed. My. Life. I've been wanting to do that for YEARS and somehow I could never quite figure out how (I feel like an idiot.) Thank you!
