New Improved Radio Broadcast Thing! NIRBT! Easier broadcasting is here. Lots of folks signed up for radio but only a few have broadcast. Some people said the setup of Winamp was too complicated. So, [More:]I have made a portable application from Winamp. Just unzip it and start it. It should run on any XP or later windows system.

If you want the new application and have already signed up for radio drop me an email (see my profile) with subject "I want the NIRBT". If you have not signed up yet please go to here http://metaradio.info/ and click on "I want to be a dj" so I can send you the NIRBT and add you to the Google calendar.
Cool. I've tried on three occasions to get things running and gave up. Each time vowing to come back stronger and more ready to make it work. And each time giving up after another fristrating hour. I'm sure it's more simple than I'm making it out to be, but I definitely welcome an even easier solution.

I'll try this tomorrow and hopefully get going. I am jacked to start broadcasting!

Thanks arse for your work on this thing.

I'm getting off the air in less than 15 minutes; anybody wanting to do test-casts, go for it!

Arsey, for those of us already radio-functional, would there be any value for us to get the NIRBT?

Not really foop unless you want to run it off a USB stick or such.

Yay. I thought my set up was all good until the last bit where edcast will NEVER EVER EVER CONNECT FOR ME.

Wow! This is great, arse. Thanks for wokring on it. I used to have some serious buffering problems that prevented me from broadcasting from WinAmp. I wonder if this could improve things? I'll try!

Seems like we used to have a radio page link on the front page. Am I losing my perceptive abilities, or is it gone? If so, we might want to replace it.

Not sure if it will make any difference Miko but it's worth a shot. Yes we did have a link to radio on the FP in the past. We also had a script that showed the last 5 or so songs and if radio was on or off. Loudcity no longer supports that script, only the script at the top of the MetaRadio page. I've looked for a replacement but had no luck. I should try an ask me about it.
