Impromptu Collaborative Mini-Mix Tape - Right here, right now! How-To info inside... →[More:]

HOW WE GONNA DO THIS:

This drop page allows up to 100MB, so let's say our Mini Mix Tape will have 10 songs

I've uploaded the first song and prefixed it with an "01"

The next person to add a song must prefix it with an "02" etc...

03, 04, and so on, up to "10"; #10 will be the last song

This drop page allows viewers to add files, so just upload your file onto the same page (I was able to just drag and drop my file onto the page)

No file should be over 10MB

If you have an idea for the next song, claim that spot in-thread, so you'll have to time to format and upload without somebody stepping on your feet. Just say something like "preparing to upload song 04" or whatever.

You can listen to the mp3s on the site. Just click the file itself, or click the "More" tab, and select "Go to File" to listen. Clicking "Return" with the little arrow will take you back to the main page.

So, okay! Go listen to my first song, and if you have an inspiration for the number two spot on the tape, claim that space here, and go upload it to the same page.

In the end, I'll put together an archive of all the songs - the completed mix tape.

Ok, done! It added it above your song, even with the "02"... so these will come out in reverse order, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

I'm in for #4. Looked for something distinctively foopish but not obviously wendell. (i.e. no Weird Al or Procol Harum) and I think I found it. Enjoy.

Yeah, it had the dashes inserted, so I just right clicked and renamed it. Pretty slick interface.

#6 is uploaded. I also got the dashes and alower case letters, but I was able to rename it and it looks good now.

BoPo - #6 is a Yoko Ono cover from a 1984 or 85 tribute album. It was a fave from my college radio days and one of those Holy Grail songs that I spent forever trying to find.

That's the only one I have heard. An old LP named GP, which has Emmylou Harris singing harmony on all tracks. I am sure that the song is very very old. OMG, the wiki says all these people have covered it:
