So I've got a Christmas playlist. What's the best way for me to share it with friends and family online?→[More:]

I'd some sort streaming format (a la the late muxtape).

Or am I just stuck with divshare?

I agree with the MechaRadio suggestions.

But besides that, you could probably put it in a .zip (with a playlist file, maybe, or images and stuff, even, maybe) and put it up on Divshare or Dropbox or Zshare or, y'know, one of those catchy-named sites.

Metachat radio? Definitely will do that, if someone can just direct me to wherever I can find the necessary information for doing so.

So I take it, given the response, that muxtape-like streaming formats are nonexistant these days? Pity. I will go with reliable-ol divshare, then.

Now my question is, how do I make the playlist? I arranged it all in iTunes, so I'm not sure how to make it work outside of that.

If your songs are MP3s, you can post them in a folder on DivShare and they'll appear as a streamable playlist. You can even embed the playlist in a web page.

Thanks BP, I'll check it out! I've got something like an hour and twenty minutes' worth of tracks, though, so if there are space limitations I doubt it'll fit. Here's hoping!

For free accounts there's a 5GB limit, so you should be fine!

The thing that made me give up on 8tracks is that you have no control over song order. That makes me crazy.

(It may not bother CitrusFreak12 for his purposes, though.)

That would bother me. I put a stupid amount of time carefully selecting the song order. But it'll be useful for when I just want to put some tracks up.

Alright, I uploaded them to divshare. But for some reason not matter how many times I organize the playlist, they don't show up in the right order.
