AskMecha: Seroquel and You →[More:]Have any of y'all been on Seroquel? If so, how did it work for you? Any side effects? Have you taken it with Effexor?

I've been on Effexor (XR 150mg) for four years and, for the most part, it has been okay with periods of not-so-okay. Well, the not-so-okay has become the norm. Saw the doc and he added Seroquel (25mg, lowest dose) to the mix.

I took my first dose last night and all I want to do is sleep. However, I was sleeping a lot before I took Seroquel. Yes, I told the doc that I had been sleeping a lot lately (10 to 14 hours per day).
