2. I dreamt about a mechazen- well, not directly, but in my dream it suddenly became the most important thing in the world to find the picture of special-k hugging the lion and show it to my mother. "You have to see the lion picture," I insisted, repeatedly, while the rest of my extended family slowly flowed into the room. Hundreds of photographs of random strangers living their superior lives flickered by as I clicked frantically, trying to find the lion picture. The relatives began to murmur. My sister kindly distracted them with my nephew. Dad took orders for drinks and mixed sangria, talking loudly to draw the cousins into the kitchen. And I clicked. I couldn't find it. I never found it. My invisible friends do not exist.
