Rain! →[More:] It always makes a bicycle commute interesting. The ride home today made me feel like R A N T W I C K. Rain, wind, the rumble of thunder, more rain, wild temperature swings. I love it.

The blurriness is a testament to how wet the cell phone was. Cats & dogs...

I bought fenders for my bike about a month ago and haven't put them on yet. I've ended up walking on the days this week that it's been raining.

I was talking with a colleague just yesterday about how long we thought we could keep biking to work in the fall weather. We hope we hold out as long as we can!

One thing I don't like about living out here is going for months on end without rain. We did get one isolated storm a few weeks ago, but generally speaking we hardly ever see a cloud from about April through October.

It's always a huge treat when it arrives. Water out of the sky!
