Twitter is strictly for the elderly! “Eight out of ten teenagers don’t buy music,” he said. “It comes from limewire, blogs or torrents.” [More:]

Wow, way to be behind the times kids as that'l get ya banned. (there are more discrete methods! ;) Fun read coming on the heals of the Lily Allen debacle.
As no teenagers followed each other’s profiles, tweeting was “pointless”. - from 'Twitter is for old people'

I am rather well acquainted with Twitter, but this statement makes no sense to me. Who follows profiles on any semi-social site? Possibly this is a problem of translating english to english.

This article makes me a little queasy. Can't put my finger on it right now, though.

Something akin to the heat from a magnifying glass might feel on the back of an ant.

Also, for the cost of one tweet you could send quite a few text messages.”

Huh? Do they charge for Twitter in the UK?

Fun read coming on the heals of the Lily Allen

Not exactly 'on the heels of'. That article was biggish net news for a day in July.

What happened in July? The stuff I linked to all happened in the last two weeks.

I think tweets can be received on telephones, and that that's what they're talking about.
