I want an Italian Greyhound, like Picasso. They're so skinny and cute, and I hear they are very chill.

You hear wrong. A friend of mine has two, and they are adorable, sweet dogs. However, they bounce around his house like molecules that get more stimulated the more they're around each other; sometimes we refer to them collectively as the "dog blur."

Also, in the wintertime when he lets them out into the yard to do their business, they'll panic at the cold temperature and stand right at the sliding glass door pawing at the glass till he lets them back in. At which point they finally unclench enough to poop on the carpet. This is in Texas, so they might have a worse time with the cold in NYC.

But they really ARE sweet little dogs.

That's cool, too; every dog I've ever owned has been crazy.

Bearded Collie. Loyal, sweet and fun. I brought mine to a friend's place and at one point her 5 year old and her friends had flipped him over and were carrying/dragging him around the yard. Harry just loved them.

They do need a good bit of running time each day.

This is your perfect dog, LT. Big Baby (that name must go), is a chocolate lab/Newfoundland mix. He'd love water, be active, big (easy to wrassle with), sweet, friendly, good with other animals. What's not to love?
