Remember my car issues? Well, I have a court date in a month. Imagine my shock when today, out of the blue.→[More:] I got a call to see if I wanted to take my case to Judge Joe Brown.

It went to voicemail since I was watching a movie and didn't know the number, but it's from an LA area code.

I'm thinking this would be a bad idea. One future students would somehow manage to find.

Well, if you agree to have your situation resolved via a television court show, at least you'll have free transportation to and from the filming location + an appearance fee + whatever the "judge" awards you (if you win). Do some research and figure out if it's worth your while. If you have nothing to lose,it might be.

It's sensible of you to wonder whether (or, more reasonably, when) future students would catch wind of this, but how big an issue is that inevitability> It sounds like the potential for your case to get messy is pretty one-sided; you appear to be transparently not at fault here.
