I was surprized to learn just yesterday that Rick had married Kulap, a lady from Thailand. There they are now, kneeling in a Buddhist temple in the photo they sent.

Marriage can be such a challenge, and cultural differences can complicate things further (I'm married to a French lady myself.) It takes a lot of strength and patience to make it through the thicket together.

I wish them the very best, and the very best to all others who choose to devote themselves to such a relationship, whoever they may be.
