I am so happy today! I have got some BIG NEWS! →[More:]
THE NEIGHBOUR FROM HELL HAS BEEN EVICTED!!!
I came home from work to find a notice on his door saying that the property had been taken into possession and that anyone wanting to remove belongings must contact [name of estate agents] within seven days or the contents would be disposed of. A few minutes after I got home, he arrived with the guy from the estate agents and left a short while later, with several bin bags full of clothes and stuff. I expect he'll arrange to clear out the flat in the next few days.
It was the mortgage company who repossessed it. And it looks as if there might be someone interested in buying it. A woman who lived down the street moved a couple of years ago, she went to Spain, but is now back in the UK. She really regretted selling her flat, and was waiting for one to come on the market so she can move back here.
Yaaay! I am overjoyed. I only hope he doesn't manage to pay off the mortgage arrears so he can get back in again. That'd be the worst case scenario. Even though in recent months he's been quiet, I know that there'd be more trouble in the future, he was on a downward spiral.
