The other night →[More:] I stopped into my after work bar for a drink. It was crowded so I peered around until I found a vacant barstool. As I sat sitting my beer, this beefy dude came up to me and said "Are you here for the meetup?" My mind did somersaults trying to remember who this guy was and I finally asked who he was on MeFi. He looked at me dumbfounded. It was a meetup of the New York Horror Movie Group Website. Or something like that. I told him that the night before in the same bar, I was at a mini meetup of internet people. He guffawed.

I have one of those faces that says "I'm from the Internet."
