GRE Literature as Subject test HELP! While my verbal score on my general GRE was fabu, I scored lower than I hoped on the Literature as Subject practice GRE I took last year.[More:] I have a study guide, several Norton Anthologies, and flash cards, but I would like to take a prep course because I have test taking anxiety. Unfortunately, Kaplan and Princeton don't have prep courses for the "specialized" GRE. Any advice on where I might find such a course? Other advice is welcome as well.
I answered you on askme, but feel free to email me if you want some names of good tutors in NY if you choose to go that route instead. I work in test prep for one of the big guys and there just isn't enough of a market even for us to pay for the classroom space to teach these specialized classes. But we do tutor for them because then you can just meet at your house/starbucks etc.

You are a generous person, and I've just sent you an email asking for a tutor rec. As I believe generosity should be repaid, let me know what your fave kind of cookie is and I shall mail you a freshly baked box o' goodness ASAP.

Aww, you're sweet but no cookies necessary! It's my job AND I love giving advice so it's a win-win already.

I just skimmed through a practice test. Wow! Good luck!

I boned up on dead white males before I took mine, answered the questions I knew and ignored the ones I didn't.
