3-point status update, Tuesday resolution edition [More:]1. I resolve to issue my outstanding invoices by the end of this week

2. I resolve to party at the weekend. I don't do enough partying.

3. I resolve to make my workspace into a nicer place to be. At the moment it's a pigsty.

What do you resolve to do? Little or big.
1. I resolve to tell someone this week to either be nice or fuck off. (Nobody here.)

2. I resolve to continue working on my sewing projects until the 14 projects are down to a more manageable 3 or 4.

3. I resolve to not let the various aggravations going on in my life to interfere with enjoying other things.

1. I resolve to make the irritating calls I haven't done for moving, like to the gas, electric, cable, magazines etc to switch my address.

2. I resolve to spend at least 1 night this week NOT working on the new apt.

3. I resolve to have all the new chapters of the 2 books/disasters I am working on now in to Production by the end of the week. Which means yelling at at least delinquent 5 authors. Again.

1. I resolve to stay out of SO's way and make her life as easy as possible as she finishes up her assignments for the quarter.

2. I resolve to have the apartment be as clean as it's ever been by the time my parents come on Friday. (This works nicely alongside #1)

3. I resolve not to hit the panic button just because Papelbon's given up two runs in his last two save opportunities and Papi continues to circle the drain.

1. I resolve to be packed and ready to move north by Saturday morning.
2. I resolve to make the most of my last cardio rehab sessions and continue to sneak in one more minute on each cardio machine and an extra rep on the weight machines.
3. I resolve not to let the excitement of moving from performing rash acts nor making a very stupid last-minute decision.

3. The possibility of a stupid last-minute decision just resolved itself. When I reach a certain fork in the highway, I will be turning right.

1. I resolve not to give up on running even though IT IS TORTURE AND I HATE IT.
3. I resolve to get all my homework and reading done in time for class tomorrow.
2. I resolve to eat all that I can eat tonight at dinner.

1. I resolve to continue to organize for the upcoming Women and Healthcare Reform meeting this week, even though this means endless phonebanking.

2. I resolve to get my proposal in to the radio station for my new show.

3. I resolve to not get irritated about myself and the fact that I need more of everything right now.

1. I resolve to stop feeling heartsick about being overlooked on an invitation from someone who used to be a good friend (and was an attendant at my wedding). I'm sure it wasn't meant maliciously but it hurts all the same. Still, it's the past now and ruminating over this sadness isn't productive.

2. See above, replace "heartsick" with "angry" and "overlooked on an invitation..." with "considered a pawn in a personnel chess game at work (metaphorically speaking)".

3. There's no number three. I can probably work up some emotions about that if you'd like...

1. I resolve to not get discouraged about the fact that everyone told me all the house repairs would be finished when I got back from vacation (and they are NOT).
2. I resolve to call fucking UMD tomorrow and find out WHERE THE HELL MY GODDAMN LETTER IS, because it should not take over a week for a letter to go from College Park to Burtonsville. IT'S ONLY ONE COUNTY AWAY.
3. I resolve to get back into the swing of taking care of myself and eating better food and signing up for that bellydancing class and trying to actually become a person instead of just a voyeur of other people's lives.

1. I resolve not to feel guilty about eating lots of extra calories this week - I am on my holiday and there will be months ahead when I can live on carrots, celery sticks and the odd Myoplex shake as a treat.

2. I resolve (reluctantly) to join Facebook when I get home because everyone I want to keep in touch with is on there and I feel left out.

3. I resolve, however, never, ever to sign up to Twitter.

"I resolve, however, never, ever to sign up to Twitter."

Sad to hear because your absence is quite notable.

Ardiril, I don't have a phone I could use to Twitter on, I wouldn't have access to it at work, and if I'm at home, I can email people. Also, I don't 'get' Twitter - I don't understand why people feel the need to update the world on every little thing they're doing. My life is boring enough as it is without other people filling it with the minutiae of their day too.

Ah, darn. Twitter has become this weird kind of extension of MeCha, and many times I have said to myself, "EJ would have LOVED this!"

1. I resolve not to freak out about being all alone in a new city, and instead love it and enjoy the new experiences.

2. I resolve to be healthier here....more exercise, less drinking, no bumming smokes.

3. I resolve to have 11 pieces of IKEA put together before I go to bed tomorrow night.
