THERE IS A SEWAGE LEAK DOWNSTAIRS AND MY OFFICE SMELLS LIKE ASS! →[More:]
The restaurant downstairs from my workplace is having some sewage pipe issues and the smell has permeated my whole office building.
Please let me go home. Pleaseletmegohome.Pleaseletmegohome.Pleaseletmegohome.Pleaseletmegohome.
I just want to get back in bed (after showering) and start the day over. In a non-sewagey place.

We get this about every 3 months or so, when the P-trap water in the washroom floor drains evaporate and let the sewer gases escape. Not fun.

Yuck. My cube is right outside our office kitchen and we've had problems with the grease trap. Let me tell you, no smell is as bad as funky grease trap smell. It's like sewer smell x a million.

They really should let you go home!!

sigh, I might.
Still here, smell still hasn't cleared out. And of course it's passover so I have a sad lunch to eat at my sad smelly desk. Tomorrow I will be working from home.

If it is raw sewage, I think it probably smells more like poop than ass?

Officially bailing now. Taking some chapters home with me and already did the stuff on the server I needed to. Farewell, shitty office!
(There are now 3 firetrucks outside- I am escaping before the building actually explodes with sewage)

Update:
I am now at home, cooking curried squash and carrot soup and making stuffed mushrooms while listening to the rain splatter against my air conditioner. I am vastly happier.
