Mad Men GiftFilter I'd ask this on the green but I already spent my question this week asking about another gift. My brother is really into the TV program Mad Men, and I think quite interested in the style and culture of that era. He is turning 24 this week and will be a lawyer in a year. Looking for a gift suggestion besides the DVDs (and not the soundtrack or posters either).→[More:]

Price range is less than $25. Something that can be shipped would be best.

I got him a cocktail shaker and recipe book a couple of years ago. Martini glasses sound like a good idea. Anyone have any further recommendations there?

Does he drink martinis at home very often? I'm probably biased because I'm not a big drinker, but those things seem to sit around and collect dust.

If he's going to be a lawyer, he'll be wearing a lot of suits--so, I like the pocket square or handkerchief idea. Not vintage, but new, crisp white pocket squares. Maybe monogrammed? Or maybe a tie clip? Cufflinks and skinny ties are also nice, but unless his wardrobe already leans that direction he might not have much use for them.

Anything that is still made in America will have a vintage 50's to it. Vornado has some cool (heh) fans; ebay is also a good source of vintage American made fans. They are a background decor item that is prominent in a lot of film; usually missed by the viewer as a trees in the forest type of item...

I see suggestions for martini glasses and cocktail shakers... But no suggestions for whiskey, THE drink of choice on Mad Men.

Rock glasses. These, if you can find them. ;)

I'll let you know if my google-fu turns up anything else that might work.

Seconding the pocket squares suggestion. Mmmmm, pocket squares. I wish I had a suit just so I could wear them.
