Andy Hallett 1975-2009 : Best known as Krevlornswath of the Deathwok Clan in the last four seasons of Angel, he was 33.→[More:]I'm posting this here because I don't know enough about him to do him justice on Mefi. I was hoping a bigger Angel fan than I would make this weak sauce strong.

Last night the BF and I finished watching the last episode of Angel (we got the box set a month ago and watched the whole thing over the last few weeks). I went online to find out what Andy Hallett was up to now and read this news. So sad.

I was so upset when I heard about this yesterday, especially considering how young he was. I had no idea.

It made me think of the Tom Lehrer quote, "It's a sobering thought to realize that by the time he was my age, he had been dead for 2 years." It's amazingly what he was able to accomplish in so little time, and saddens me that we will never know what else he would have gone on to do.

I'm not sure if it was intentional, but this morning they aired the first Lorne episode of Angel-a lovely tribute to a talented man.

I know.. it's so sad. I've been watching Angel too - I'm at the end of the fourth season.

In other related Angel news - Alexis Denisof (Wesley) and Alyson Hannigan (Willow) had a baby girl on Alyson's birthday!

Birth, death, it's seeming increasingly circular to me.
